Her background includes multicultural ministry, volunteer management, consulting, & team development, helping people & organizations thrive together. She is committed to creating spaces where people can grow in self-awareness, embrace diversity, and bridge differences.
Debra Browne
Vice PresidentDebra is a committed relationship‑builder and equity‑centered leader. A CQ Certified Facilitator, she brings expertise in volunteer coordination, multicultural ministry, diversity program management, and administrative operations. She is guided by strong faith and steady advocacy for justice. She creates spaces where people feel seen, valued, heard, and supported.
Julie Boynton
Director / SecretaryJulie is passionate about advancing equity, dignity, and opportunity for all. With eight years of experience in community education, she partners with faith-based and secular communities to inspire action, foster dialogue, and empower people to build solidarity, advocate for justice, and create lasting social change.
Heather Watts
Director / TreasurerWith more than 40 years of nonprofit experience and education, Heather’s heart is to help people explore the beliefs and experiences that shape how they see themselves and others, especially across racial and cultural differences. She is passionate about fostering healing, and connection by inviting people to look within and release harsh judgments of themselves and others. Heather believes this work is central to creating more just, safe, and compassionate communities.
Noelle Adedoyin
Book Club Co-LeaderNoelle Adedoyin is co leader of the book club. A Madison transplant since 2019, she bonded with Julie over a love of reading and a shared passion for multicultural dialogue. Noelle is a 7 year educator, counselor and advisor with experience in higher education and K-12 settings. She is also co-founder of the @friendlyblackfoodies page.
